A total of 34 journalists in Punch Newspaper were purposively selected and studied based on their willingness to participate in the study. Questionnaire was used to collect data for the study. The collected data were analyzed using frequency counts and percentages, and presented in tables. The study found that social media platforms have significantly improved newsgathering practices, breaking of news and the reception of audience feedback among journalists of Punch Newspaper.
