Dysmenorrhea and Yoga
Abstract
Dysmenorrhea is a painful medical condition during menstruation. Some of yogic activities such as child pose, cow pose, cat pose, Pigeon pose, supta buddha konasana are recomnded to practice to avoid the symptoms of dysmenorrhea. The practice of yoga has been found to exert a beneficial influence on dysmenorrhea, largely through facilitating relaxation, mitigating stress, and enhancing both physical and emotional well-being.
