The purpose of the study was to examine the Effect of german volume training on selected physical fitness variables of corporate women. For the purpose of this study, forty (N=40) corporate women were selected from Chennai district, Tamilnadu, India. The selected subjects were in the age between 35 and 40 yrs. The subjects were randomly divide into two equal groups of twenty (N=20) each. Group I underwent german volume training and Group II acted as control who did not participate in any special training. The training period for experimental group was fixed as eight weeks (3days/week). The criterion variables selected were muscular endurance and explosive power. The muscular endurance was measured by using bent knee sit-ups, and explosive power was measured by using standing broad jump. The selected subjects were tested before and after training period. Descriptive statistics, dependent âtâ test and Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was used as tools to analyze the data.
