Study of Effect of Yogic Practice on Cardiovascular Profile of Obese Women

Abstract

The importance of yogic practice is well known across the world. In this study effect of yogic is seen heart rate (HR), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), double product (DP), and pulse pressure (PP) of obese women from Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Yogasana, pranayama, and relaxation techniques were adopted in the study. Result of the present study demonstrated insignificant difference between the treatment. In conclusion, research on large sample is required to draw meaningful conclusions.
