Abstract

The comparison of "The Effect of Indoor Exercises on Strength and Fitness of Semi-Professional Soccer Players during Pandemic" was the major goal of this study. Thirty male soccer players from Storm Sports Group in New Delhi were chosen for this study using a simple random sample methodology. The individuals' ages ranged from 18 to 30 years. Exercises for physical fitness were given to each group. A six-week training program was involved. For the best growth of the targeted study objective, the principles of load progression, variability, specificity, etc. were followed during the training. Six days a week, twice a day, from 6:00 am to 8:00 am and from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. On Saturday, just the morning session of instruction was offered, and on Saturday evening and Sunday, there was no training at all. The strength and fitness of semi-professional soccer players will be impacted by indoor physical fitness exercises throughout the pandemic, according to the theory. Soccer players' leg strength, agility, core muscle endurance, and leg muscular endurance were all scored when they performed the wall sit, side hops, planks, and one-legged squats, respectively. Data for the study were gathered before the start of training programs and right away after the six-week training sessions were finished. To facilitate additional statistical analyses, the acquired data were methodically presented in a table. To determine the impact of indoor exercises on the strength and fitness of semi-pro soccer players, a dependent t-test was used. For the purpose of evaluating the hypothesis, the level of significance was fixed at 0.05. The results of the statistical analysis showed that there were substantial differences in the strength and fitness of semi-professional soccer players, namely in their leg strength, agility, core muscle endurance, and leg muscular endurance.
