Comparison between Male and Female High School Students of Adjustment

Adjustment is a type of behavior in which a person adept their environment in a respective manner and give and take comfort to their family member.An attempt has been made in the present investigation to study of the effect of gender (boys & girls) and types of school (English Medium & Hindi Medium) on adjustment, 2×2 factorial design was used and analysis of variance was calculated. For this purpose, the Adjustment scale by Dr. Taresh Bhatia & Anita Garg was administered on 350 English medium (175 Boys & 175 Girls) and 350 Hindi medium (175 boys & 175 girls) high school students. The result revealed thatThere is no significant difference of adjustment between Male & female high school students.Therefore, there is no significant difference of social adjustment between male & female high school students.The male high school students have significantly high Emotional Adjustment than female high school students at 0.05 level. Although there is no significant difference of male & female high school students as Home Adjustment, Educational Adjustment, Emotional Adjustment and Health Adjustment at 0.05 level.
