Concept and Working Style of Transformation of Aspirational District Program to Enhance Learning Outcomes
Abstract
This paper aims to understand the work and working style of transformation of aspirational district programs for elementary education and the importance of the same. NITI Aayog is the responsible body for the implementation of this program. TADP is a combined effort of Education, Basic infrastructure, Financial Inclusion and skill development, Agriculture and water resource, Health and Nutrition to boost the economy under the guidance of the United Nation Development Program (UNDP). Every policy elaborated that elementary education is a crucial stage of learners’ life because whatever has been learned in this stage will be the base of their living style further. The TADP program also emphasizes education and holds 30% of the whole accountability. The program collaborates with organizations and local bodies to make this easy. Retrospectively we found that the policy of 1986 and NCF 2005 has suggested several ways out for the smooth functioning of this initiative of NITI Aayog. TADP is a visionary program to cater for the problems of education and growth of our country.
